Our staff are a team who work collaboratively to develop and nurture our students’ learning and wellbeing. We offer a well-rounded curriculum that includes opportunities for fun and enrichment, inspiring students to fully engage in their educational journey.

Enrichment and Extension
Students can extend their skills in Mathematics and Reading through specialist classes, competitions, and high-ability programs. In 2026, our Math Academy will be ready to enrich our student’s knowledge in Mathematics!

Physical Education
We’re proud of our vibrant PE program that offers students a wide range of opportunities to learn, play, and compete. Specialist coaches visit throughout the year to run exciting sessions in sports such as netball, AFL, basketball, softball, and lacrosse. Students also enjoy free or subsidised after-school programs like Auskick and softball.

As part of School Sport Victoria, we compete in the Berwick District Lightning Premiership, athletics, swimming, and cross-country. Basketball is a strong focus, with many students playing in local and representative teams. Thanks to Sporting Schools funding, we regularly bring in expert coaches—most recently, our Grade 3 and 4 students loved learning touch football.

Arts and Music
Our vibrant Arts program develops creativity through visual arts, music, drama, and performance. Our students work with clay and different elements to finesse their artistic talents. They also get to play a range of musical instruments, practise acting and performance skills.

Technologies
We integrate technology into learning to build digital literacy, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Students explore coding, robotics, 3D design, and multimedia production, equipping them with the skills needed for the future.

Maramba builds leadership.

Student leadership is a valuable opportunity for our students to develop their skills in being leaders, organisers and active members of their community. Maramba students have opportunities from Year 1 to be a part of student leadership roles.
