District Swimming Trials
The District swimming competition is an event day on Tuesday 25th February, where local schools compete in the strokes of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle. All students from years 3-6 are welcome to participate, provided that they are capable and confident swimming 50 metres continuously.
To ensure all students are fit for the competition there is a morning trial session at Casey ARC Aquatic Centre on Tuesday 18th February from 7:30am-8:30am. Students will be asked to swim 50 metres, choosing the stroke/s that they want to compete in. Maramba has quite a small swim team, therefore all students that complete the 50 metre lap with a capable stroke technique, will be asked to compete in the District event day.
